We Remember

Our Charter will be draped for these who have recently passed away:

Lillian Mae Smith joined Winona Grange in 1948. She served as Chaplain from 1984 to 1992, and as Treasurer from 1995 to 2000. She was preceeded in death by her husband Edward, and her son Wayne. Surviving are son Kenneth and daughter Lenore.
Her Memorial Service was at Norwood Bible Church, and she is buried alongside her husband and son in historic Winona Cemetery.

Larry Heisler, husband of June, joined Winona Grange in 1949, and will be receiving his 60-year Seal posthumously. He was part of the Youth Group at Winona in the late '40s and '50s. Larry is survived by his wife, daughters Peggy, Vicky and Wendy, and son Doug. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.

What's New?

The Tool Shed, a program to get good, used gardening tools into the hands of those who need them, but can't really afford them. See our Winona's Programs page for more details.

Our next Community Event: a joint-venture with the Tualatin Lion's Club, A Pancake Breakfast on July 18th, proceeds to benefit the Tualatin Lion's Club Youth Programs, at the Grange Hall, 7:30 to 11:00 am.

Grange Meetings
Winona Grange #271 meets monthly, on fourth Mondays at the Hall at 1 pm. Meetings are preceded by a Potluck Lunch at Noon. You're welcome to join us.

Winona Grange - Tualatin Food Pantry Food Drive

In 2009, Winona Grange #271 will continue the Food Drive

we started during the 2008 - 2009 Holiday Season.

This year, there are more families without sufficient food than usual.

In cooperation with all the groups that use the Grange Hall

for their activities, we are collecting non-perishable foods

for the Tualatin Schoolhouse Food Pantry.

Please join us in a local solution to a local need.

Bring your non-perishable foods to the Grange Hall

any time the Grange Hall is open for a

regularly-scheduled event, including during the

Grange meeting on the fourth Monday.

Thank you for helping us help others.
